McKinney Family of 5 Oasis 

This sweet family of 5 were moving to Texas from out-of-state and wanted to have a fresh start upon arriving to their new home. Via video chats, we were so excited to help them during the building process ensure the details were right and create designs that they would feel comfortable in. Starting a new life in a new space can be a tough transition and we're so grateful that we were able to help make it a little easier with a fun BIG REVEAL the day after they flew in! For the design, we incorporated a modern, open layout with touches of rustic elegance and details that would match the wow-factor of the home's stunning foundation. For the Living Room, the luxurious performance-grade fabric (important with 3 boys under 8!) sofas have a curved back frame that mimic the curves of the window treatment fabric pattern. Chiseled marble edges of the sofa table stand on hammered metal legs and coincide with the marble Kitchen counter tops. Our favorite element may just be the granite top over-sized coffee tables that draw you into the cozy oasis. All the details for the rest of the house came together to create a natural flow and includes a spacious playroom laden in plaid, a cozy man cave, outdoor living with a glass fire pit and a media room fit for entertaining.
