Interior Design Assistant Position Available

Full Time | Hourly based on experience

Job Duties:

Assist on Design Appointments

-Properly measure rooms and windows to create to-scale floor plans

-Check availability on products and aid in creating selection presentations

-Properly document all aspects of project

-Assist designer as needed

Manage client project from start to finish.

-Place and manage orders

-Coordinate with warehouse manager on incoming products and defective issues

-Schedule contractors/installers

-Various research tasks for customers projects

-Customer relations and communications during project

-Implement systems to ensure client satisfaction

-Prepare accessories for installations

-Help on project installations

Build and nurture relationships with Vendors, Contractors, Realtors, etc.

Create and improve current systems to improve business efficiency

Help with Sample Management as needed

Job Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is/has:

-Natural salesperson, good with people. Great phone etiquette

-Must be detail-oriented in fast-paced environment

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Flexible with some early evening hours Monday-Friday

-Ability to stay focused and work diligently with little supervision

-Positive attitude and motivator for the team, even when loaded with tasks

-Reliable transportation, Punctual & trustworthy

-Willing to help on installations: some heavy lifting involved

-Passionate about interior design

Bonus Experience:

-Graphic Design Experience. Preferably Adobe Photoshop

-Interest in / experience with photography and DSLR cameras

-Video editing experience

-Sales Experience

Bonus program available + Ability to grow into a decorator or management position
